Additional Flu Vaccine cohort 2020


Along with the rest of the population we heard last friday 20th  November on BBC Breakfast that the 50 - 64 age group could be vaccinated against Flu from 1st Dec 2020.  Having received confirmation of this later in the day we have finally managed to order some vaccines but they will not be with us until during December so please DO NOT phone to arrange an appointment yet, we have not confirmed clinic dates and times as yet as we are not sure when the vaccines will arrive. As soon as we have more information we will be texting inviting everyone with a mobile number and sending written invitation to anyone else. We will also update the website and Facebook pages.  Thank you for your patience.


Repeat Prescriptionsmedication7

Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in the following ways:

  • In person - hand your repeat slip into the surgery with the required items clearly marked.
  • By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • Online - follow the link at the top of this page to complete a simple registration.
  • By email ( for those not wanting online access and  to order for under 16's)- manorhouse.marstongreen@nhs.net include name / address / dob of patient / name of items required

Telephone requests cannot be accepted for repeat medication unless in exceptional circumstances.  This is to eliminate the possibility of errors.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

48_hoursPlease allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Patients using the postal service should allow three days.
